“The Best Bridge Afloat!”

Lesley & Ralph Smith have successfully organised
& run Excel Bridge holidays in this country for 20
years but have decided to concentrate on Bridge Cruises whilst Andrew &
Cathy take over the “home events”. Our aim has always been for everyone to
enjoy a cheerful, memorable, (and of course, successful!) bridge holiday.

We take great pride in running a “Family Business” with
that personal touch.
For our Bridge Cruises we have chosen the ships of the
Fred Olsen line and in the last 4 years we have successfully organised Bridge
Cruises on Black Watch, Braemar & Balmoral.
They all have dedicated card rooms (very important!) and
they are all relatively small friendly ships with excellent food & good
service.
How much Bridge is there?

Obviously it depends on the length of the cruise &
the number of sea days, but in principle there is Bridge every night after
first sitting dinner, generally ending in time for those who wish to see
the “second” show. In addition, on sea days there is an afternoon session
of Bridge & occasional morning seminars. Naturally, everything is
optional, you take part in as much or as little as you like! – however,
no-one can complain that there isn’t enough Bridge available.

Bridge Cruises 2012/13 As our April cruise to the
Azores & Canaries is sold out, we have moved into 2013 with a January
cruise to West Africa & Cape Verde. However, there are still places on
our shorter summer cruise to the popular Norwegian Fjords & Amsterdam –
something for everyone!
